Meet Noah
Born at just 29 weeks, Noahโs journey has been anything but easy. Despite years in hospitals and several diagnoses, his condition remained a mystery. Some doctors lost hope, but Noahโs family never stopped fighting. At five, he received a preliminary mito diagnosis, confirmed at eight.
Noah is now 16ย and embraces life with an unstoppable spirit. He navigates the world in his wheelchair affectionately named, "Bumblebee".
As Captain of the Mito Movement and 2023 Moorabool Young Citizen of the Year, Noah is truly an inspiration. He says, โI want to be a leader who represents diversity and disability and to change the world for people like me.โ
Noah brings joy wherever he goes. Though mito has taken much from him, it hasnโt dimmed his spirit. He says,โฏโI choose to be happy."
To everyone taking part in The Bloody Long Walk โ thank you for supporting Australians like Noah.
